  1. Comparing the life of a Roman of the upper class to the life of a Grecian from the upper class, I think that both of them will be the same just like every other celebrity but in this time they had there own Beyonce and Kardashians like, For wealthy Romans, life was good. They lived in beautiful houses – often on the hills outside Rome, away from the noise and the smell. Poorer Romans, however, could only dream of such a life. Sweating it out in the city, they lived in shabby, squalid houses that could collapse or burn at any moment.
  2.  The upper class was very small and the only number out to have 300 families. To be considered a part of the upper class, they had to be a citizen and have no job. The lower class was partly made of freedom who at one point were slaves. Most of the time to lower class people were not a citizen of Greece so the best these people could ever have ever done was to be apart of the middle class.
  3. Most people that are in the upper class at this time would make the lower class slaves and serve them day and night. this affected them because they were used in unbearable ways that I couldn't even think of. most people expect that the woman to stay home and be a housewife witch now is a tv show that is called The Real Housewives but most women enjoy doing this but some don't because they want to get out and work as well.
  • Art: The Greeks wanted perfection in their depiction of people.  The Romans want real-life people.  The Greeks statues were of perfect people.  The Romans statues contained all the flaws of real people.
  • Women: In Ancient Greece women had no rights.  They were property. In Rome, when ruled by kings, and then under the Republic, women were not property, but they had no rights.  During the Empire, Roman women had quite a few rights but were still not citizens.
